Today we continued working on task 2. I learn't that Peer to peer is like file sharing, benefits of networking is the ability to share files and outputs with others and the difference between LAN and WAN is WAN being a wider area of coverage and LAB being smaller

Today I was trying to complete task 3 and get it organised and on to the Wikispace. Then we started on Task 4 which we struggled to get much done on.
Q14 Precautions to protect computers. Enable firewall. Do not go on to suspicious websites. Avoid pop ups. Delete emails that aware you of prize. When downloading. Do not download something that makes you download other things. Delete emails that ask for passwords. Always scan downloaded files for viruses. Not to share passwords with other people on an instant messenger. Be sure to block people from viewing your pictures and files. Make sure that you do not tick boxes that say ( remember my password) Q15 Cmos password… is a password protection for the bios setup. File permissions…. A set of conventions for controlling access to a file. A file's permissions consist of access modes and deny modes. Firewall….
